Management

Head of Centre: Pete Moran

Pete is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Centre. He is also responsible for fundraising and other income generation as well as marketing and communications.

Senior Solicitor: Claire Burton

Claire has responsibility for legal compliance and quality assurance in all of our advice and casework. She is also a practising solicitor working on housing, employment and welfare benefits cases. She would act as the first port of call for anyone wishing to make a complaint about the work of the Centre.

Office Manager: Annette Oxley

Annette is responsible for the day-to-day administrative management of the Centre, including liaison with the Legal Aid Agency, management accounts and many personnel matters. She is line manager to non-casework staff and reports to the Head of Centre.

Casework Team

Solicitor – Jennie Cafferky

Jennie is a 5-year qualified solicitor working with housing, welfare benefits and employment matters

Solicitor – Eva Irving

Eva is a 5-year qualified solicitor dealing primarily with housing and is the main housing supervisor for the Centre.

Trainee Solicitor:  Christina Ward

Christina is our trainee solicitor.  She will be covering housing, welfare benefits and housing during her training.

Specialist Caseworkers

Focus Families Caseworker: Jane Parkin

Jane is a specialist Focus Families caseworker

Caseworker: Laura Robinson

Laura is a specialist caseworker and supervisor in debt matters

Triage/Welfare Benefits Caseworker: Michael Delaboe

Michael is the one of the first faces most people see. His job is to spend time with each client who comes to one of our drop-in sessions and evaluate what help they might need before referring them to a member of the casework team.  Michael is also a specialist caseworker and supervisor in welfare benefits matters

Welfare Benefits Caseworker: Kirsty Jones

Kirsty is a specialist welfare benefits caseworker

Non-casework team

Legal secretary: Joanne Ratcliffe

Joanne is our main administrator and responsible for the opening and closing of all of our legal aid files as well as providing a full secretarial service to caseworkers

Receptionist/volunteer co-ordinator: Fiona McCrum

Fiona is responsible for co-ordinating volunteers and running the reception area of the Centre. She also co-ordinates work experience placements.
